Welcome to Investwell Release Notes. We are pleased to inform you about the updates being made to our software this week.

Feature Updates


  1. Easily View Reporting Hierarchy in a Tree Format:

  • We’ve improved how reporting structures are displayed in the User Settings.

  • Earlier, the "Reports To" column simply showed the reporting person’s name. Now, it’s been replaced with a "View Hierarchy" button.

  • Clicking this opens a pop-up that shows the full reporting flow in a clear, tree view.

  • Where to Find:

    • Login to Investwell

  1. NSE: Addition of New Nominee Details When Creating a New IIN:

  • In line with the latest NSE guidelines, we’ve updated the nominee section during profile creation(IIN) to capture more detailed information.

  • Now, while adding a nominee, you'll be required to provide.

    • Nominee Email ID, Mobile Number, Address, City, State, Pincode.

  • Additionally, a new dropdown has been added to select the Nominee’s ID proof, with options including:

    • PAN, Aadhaar, Driving License & Passport

  • These updates ensure smoother compliance with regulatory norms and help maintain a more complete nominee record from the start.

  • Where to Find:

    • Login to Investwell 

    • Invest Online NSE > Profile List > Create IIN


         



  1. BSE: New Nominee Details Now Required During UCC Creation:

  • As per the latest BSE guidelines, additional nominee details are now required when creating an investment profile(UCC).

  • Now, while adding a nominee, you'll be required to provide.

    • Nominee Email ID, Mobile Number, Address, City, Pincode.

  • Additionally, a new dropdown has been added to select the Nominee’s ID proof, with options including:

    • PAN, Aadhar, Driving Licence & Passport

  • These updates ensure smoother compliance with regulatory norms and help maintain a more complete nominee record from the start.

  • Where to Find:

    • Login to Investwell 

    • Invest Online BSE > Profile List > Create UCC


       



  • These changes are fully compatible with BSE Sync and the Bulk Upload UCC file, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience across platforms.

  1. MFU: New Nominee Details Now Required During CAN Creation:

  • As per the latest MFU guidelines, additional nominee details are now required when creating an investment profile(CAN).

  • Now, while adding a nominee, you'll be required to provide.

    • Nominee Email ID, Mobile Number, Address, City, Pincode.

  • Additionally, a new dropdown has been added to select the Nominee’s ID proof, with options including:

    • PAN, Aadhar, Driving Licence & Passport

  • These updates ensure smoother compliance with regulatory norms and help maintain a more complete nominee record from the start.

  1. My SIP Menu Now Optimised for Mobile Web View:

  • With this update, the My SIP menu is now fully mobile responsive when viewed through your phone’s browser. Whether you're tracking your SIPs or reviewing details, everything fits perfectly on your screen. This update ensures convenience and flexibility while you're on the move.

  1. MFU Cart Is Now Mobile Responsive:

  • With the latest update, the MFU Cart is now mobile responsive. You can easily access and use the MFU Cart from your mobile browser, making it simpler to view and place transactions on the go.

  • Where to Find:

    • Login to Investwell (Mobile Web Browser)

    • Investor Dashboard > Invest Online MFU > Cart


       



 

Bugs Resolved

  1. Unrealized Capital Gain Report Showing Negligible Units: 

  • Issue Reported:

    • The Unrealized Capital Gain Report was displaying scheme holdings with negligible unit balances and values.

  • Issue Resolved:

    • We’ve refined the report to exclude mutual fund purchases that meet the following condition:

    • Remaining Units < 1 AND Current Value < ₹10.

    • This ensures your report remains clean, relevant, and easy to interpret.

  • Where to Find:

    • Investor Dashboard > Reports > Capital Gain Unrealized


         



  1. Disclaimer in PDF Footer not Reflecting as Configured: 

  • Issue Reported:

    • In the generated PDF reports, the disclaimer section was not picking up the custom text set in the PDF configuration settings, resulting in outdated or missing disclaimers.

  • Issue Resolved:

    • This has been fixed — the system will now correctly reflect the configured disclaimer in all generated PDF reports, ensuring consistency and compliance across your documents.

  • To Configure the Disclaimer:

    • Login to Investwell

    • Dashboard  > Setting > Portal Setting > PDF Reports Configuration


       


   

  1. Old Format of Capital Gain Realized Report Being Sent via Email Scheduler:

  • Issue Reported:

    • An issue was identified where the Capital Gain Realized Report sent through the Email Scheduler for FY 24-25 was still using the old format of FY 23-24.

  • Issue Resolved:

    • We've fixed this issue now, whenever the report is sent via Email Scheduler, it uses the latest, updated format

  • To Share Report via Email Scheduler:

    • Login to Investwell

    • Dashboard > Email Scheduler 

       

 


  1. XIRR Value Was Still Visible Despite Being Disabled in Settings:

  • Issue Reported:

    • An issue was reported where the XIRR value continued to appear in Investment Snapshot of Portfolio Summary Report even after the broker had configured the setting to hide it.

  • Issue Resolved:

    • We've fixed the bug, XIRR values will now be hidden as expected when the setting is disabled, giving brokers better control over what their clients see.

    • Dashboard > Settings > Portal Settings > IFA Preferences

       

 


  1. Incorrect Common Application Form Getting Downloaded:

  • Issue Reported:

    • A user reported that while trying to download the Common Application Form for Parag Parikh AMC, the system was downloading the form of Bajaj Finserve AMC instead.

  • Issue Resolved:

    • We’ve fixed the issue so that now, when a scheme is selected, the correct Common Application Form is downloaded.

  • Where to Find:

    • Login to Investwell

    • Dashboard > Utilities > Form 

       

 


  1. Net Investment Mismatch Between Portfolio Valuation and Summary Reports:

  • Issue Reported:

    • A mismatch was observed in the Net Investment value between the Portfolio Valuation Report and the Portfolio Summary Report.

  • Issue Identified:

    • Redemption transactions for zero-balance Bonds were not being factored into the Portfolio Summary Report Investment snapshot section.

  • Issue Resolved:

    • This inconsistency has been fixed. Redemption data is now accurately included in both reports, ensuring a consistent and reliable view of Net Investment across the platform.

  1. Incorrect Folio Mapping in Transaction Report:


  • Issue Reported:

    • There was a mismatch in folio details between the Transaction Entry screen and the Transaction Report. When users placed two transactions (like an SIP and a Purchase) for the same scheme but under different folios, the Transaction Report incorrectly grouped both under a single folio.

  • Issue Resolved:

    • This has been corrected. Now, transactions made under different folios will appear correctly in both the Transaction Entry view and the Transaction Report, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.

  • View Transaction Entry:

    • Login to Investwell

    • Investor Dashboard >Transaction Entry

        

       

 

  • View Transaction Report:

    • Login to Investwell

    • Investor Dashboard > Report > Transaction Report


       


  1. Incorrect FY Dropdown in Capital Gain Realized Report:

  • Issue Reported:

    • When users accessed the Capital Gain Realized report under the type as Tax Package, the system defaulted to FY 2024–25, but the dropdown only displayed options till FY 2023–24 causing confusion.

  • Issue Resolved:

    • We’ve fixed the dropdown so it now include only the Current and Previous financial years making it easier for you to select the right FY while generating reports.

  • Where to Find:

    • Investor Dashboard > Report > Capital Gain Realized > 


       

  


  1. Password Removed from Model Portfolio PDF:

  • Issue Reported:

    • Advisors found that the Model Portfolio PDF was password protected, just like the reports shared with investors, which restricted it to access.

  • Issue Resolved:

    • We’ve removed the password protection from the Model Portfolio PDF. Advisors can now open and view it

  • Where to Find:

    • Login to Investwell

    • Dashboard  > Utilities > Model Portfolio


       

 


  1. Current NAV Missing in Portfolio Valuation PDF:

  • Issue Reported:

    • In the Portfolio Valuation PDF, when users applied Group By Option 2 or 5, the Current NAV column was missing from the generated report.

  • Issue Resolved:

    • We’ve fixed this! The Current NAV will now appear correctly in the PDF for all grouping options, giving users a complete and accurate snapshot of their portfolio.
