On behalf of Wealth First Finserv, we would like to share a few feature enhancement suggestions based on our collective experience and day-to-day usage of the Investwell CRM. These improvements could make task management, client servicing, and overall CRM usability more efficient.
1. Activity Notifications
Provide notifications for all CRM activities, including tasks, meetings, and other important activities, so users can stay updated without having to manually check the CRM.
2. Task Comment Notifications
Based on our experience, once a task is created or assigned, comments become an important channel for communicating updates until the task is completed.
For example, comments are commonly used to communicate:
Progress or updates on the task
Issues or blockers someone is facing
Requests for clarification
Approvals required from seniors or managers
Any other information relevant to completing the task
However, currently, we do not receive any notification when someone adds a comment to a task. This makes it difficult to know when there has been an update, especially when we are not actively checking the task. It would therefore be very helpful if users could receive a simple notification whenever a new comment is added to a task they are involved in. This would help ensure that important updates, questions, and approval requests are not missed.
3. Recurring Tasks
Provide an option to mark a task as Recurring and define the required frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
4. Task Search
Add a search option while selecting a task, particularly when there are multiple tasks available. This would make it easier to locate and assign the relevant task.
5. Recent Replies/Comments in Task Update Emails
In the daily task update email received in Outlook, it would be useful to display the most recent replies/comments related to the task (for example, comments/replies from the last 1 day) along with the task update. This would allow users to understand the latest progress without having to open the CRM.
6. Remove/Unassign Client from a Task
Provide an option to remove or unassign a client from an existing task. Currently, once a client is assigned to a task, there does not appear to be an option to undo or remove the assignment.
7. Direct Access to Client Reports
It would be useful to have direct links/access to reports such as Portfolio Valuation, Portfolio Summary, and other relevant client reports from within the CRM client/task screen. This would reduce the need to navigate separately through the reporting section.
8. Investor Type / Investment Style
We suggest introducing a separate CRM field to capture the client's investment style/behaviour, with a dropdown for Investor Type and an option to add relevant comments.
This would be different from the existing Risk Profile, which primarily captures risk tolerance and risk capacity. The proposed field could capture how the client prefers to invest and manage their portfolio, such as:
Active or passive investing
Long-term investing
Income-oriented strategies
Capital appreciation focused
Preference for specific asset classes/products
Having this information separately recorded would help us understand clients better and tailor product recommendations and portfolio strategies according to their individual preferences.
9. @Mention in Comments
Enable @mentions for Investwell users in CRM comments. When a user is mentioned, they should receive a notification and email informing them that they have been tagged.
This would make internal communication and task coordination much more efficient.
10. WhatsApp Integration / Single Number
WhatsApp has now been integrated with the CRM, but the integration required us to use a different WhatsApp number, as it was set up directly without a third-party platform such as AiSensy.
It would be helpful if Investwell could consider integrating/combining this functionality with the existing Investwell WhatsApp Sender, allowing users to manage both functionalities using a single WhatsApp number. This would avoid the need to maintain separate numbers and make client communication more seamless.
