Welcome to Investwell Release Notes. We are pleased to inform you about the updates made to our software over the last few weeks. Read through to discover the exciting changes we’ve made just for you.


Feature Updates


  1. Introducing External Asset Managers (EAMs):

  • A new External Asset Manager (EAM) feature has been introduced to help MFDs identify and manage assets handled by external managers outside their organization. 

  • Broker admins can create EAMs and assign them to various asset types, including Mutual Funds (MF), Shares & Bonds (SB), Other Assets (OA), and Fixed Deposits (FD). Once assigned, assets can be easily filtered and reported based on the selected EAM. 

  • Note: EAMs function as asset tags for classification and reporting purposes only. They do not have a separate login or user access. 


  • External Asset Managers:

    • Dashboard > Settings > External Asset Managers > Create


       




  1. Introducing New PMS Integrations: 

  • We have added the following PMS providers to Investwell Mint:


    • Right Horizon Axis

    • Ironclad

    • SBI

    • Nafa

    • Qode

    • Gold Standard

    • Electrum


  • Add PMS:

    • Dashboard >  Settings > PMS Credentials > Add Credentials

 

       



  1. Fundsnet SOA Download Reintroduced: 

  • Edge360 has frequent issues in downloading the CAMS SOA as you may have experienced. Eg - It doesn’t support concurrent users logged in, and also sometimes SOA is not available in real-time.

  • Fundsnet, on the other hand, is more reliable for SOA download. It can be enabled from Settings > Portal Settings > IFA Preferences tab. Here, setUse Edge360 to NO. 

  • If the MFD has selected FundsNet as the SOA source (instead of Edge 360), an additional CAPTCHA verification step will now be required during the SOA download process. 

  • Download SOA:

    • Dashboard > Folio Lookup > Download SOA.


       


  1. My Investment Journey: Net Investment Column Reintroduced:


  • The Net Investment column has been reintroduced in the My Investment Journey section. 

  • Additionally, the Net Investment value will now be calculated based on the selected date range. This ensures that the displayed amount reflects only the investments made during the chosen period, providing a more accurate view of the investment journey. 

  • Where to Find:

    • Investor Dashboard > Reports > Investment Journey


         



  1. Other Assets - Account Number Added to Excel Export:

  • The Other Assets Excel export has been enhanced with a new Account Number column.

  • This addition provides better visibility into account details, making it easier to identify and reconcile assets in the downloaded report.


  • Where to Find:

    • Dashboard > Data Management > Create Transaction > Other Assets > Excel Download

 

       


  1. Enhancements in Risk Profile Submission:

  • The Submitted Risk Profile Excel now includes a new IP Address column for better audit and tracking. 

  • Where to Find:

    • Dashboard > Risk Profiling > Submissions > Excel Download


         


  • The same IP Address is also displayed in the Risk Profile PDF received over the mail by the investor after submission. 



       

 


  • If the advisor has not configured a custom disclaimer, the PDF will now automatically include a standard disclaimer. 

  • Add Custom Disclaimer:

    • Dashboard > Risk Profiling > Setup Risk Profiler


         


  1. AMC Bill Register - Excel Export Enhanced:

  • The AMC Bill Register Excel export has been enhanced with two new columns:

    • Net Commission

    • Tax Type (indicates whether the brokerage is Inclusive of GST or Exclusive of GST)

  • These additions provide better clarity on commission values and the applicable tax calculation for each billing record.

    • Dashboard > Billing > AMC Bill Register > Excel Download

        

       

 


  1. Fund Screener - Multi Category Selection Added:


  • The Fund Screener has been enhanced to support multi-category selection.

  • When using the Category filter, you can now select multiple categories from the dropdown at the same time. This makes it easier to screen and compare funds across different categories in a single search.

    • Dashboard > Utilities > Funds Screener

  1. Onboarding Flow Improved for Better Usability:

  • We have fixed several issues and enhanced the Onboarding flow to provide a smoother experience. The updated flow improves overall usability, making it easier for users to complete onboarding with greater clarity and convenience.


  • Where to Find:

    • Login Screen > Sign Up

       

 


  1. NSE Invest – Improvement in Complete UCC Process:


  • Issue Reported:

    • In NSE Invest, when users resumed the creation of an incomplete UCC, the system continued the process without rechecking the latest KYC status. If the KYC status had changed after the UCC was initially started, users encountered an error at the final stage of UCC creation. 

  • Issue Resolved:

    • The validation logic has been updated. The system now rechecks the KYC status when the user clicks on "Complete UCC", ensuring that only valid KYC records proceed and preventing errors during the final submission.

    • Dashboard > Invest Online NSE > Profile List > Incomplete UCC


       

 


  1. AUM Report – Family Head Filter Not Showing All Clients:


  • Issue Reported:

    • An issue was observed in the AUM Report where some clients appeared in the report when the Group by Family Head was applied, but the same clients were not available in the "Select User” Family Headfilter, resulting in inconsistent filtering. 

  • Issue Resolved: 

    • The filter logic has been corrected. All applicable Family Heads are now displayed consistently.


  • Where to Find:

    • Dashboard > Business Analytics > AUM Reports

        

       

 


  1. Scheme Compare Trailing Returns Not Displayed:


  • Issue Reported:

    • An issue was observed in Scheme Compare, where the Trailing Returns (Past Performance) for some schemes were appearing as blank while downloading data for a selected NAV date. 

  • Issue Resolved:

    • The data retrieval logic has been corrected. Trailing Returns are now displayed correctly for all applicable schemes based on the selected NAV date.


  • Where to Find:

    • Dashboard > Utilities > Scheme Compare


 

       



 

  1. NSE Redemption/Switch-  Incorrect Unit Display for "All Units" Orders:

  • Issue Reported:

    • While placing a Switch or Redemption order using the "All Units" option, the Orders page was displaying 0 units instead of the actual total units selected for the transaction. 

  • Issue Resolved:

    • This issue has been fixed. The Orders page now correctly displays the actual total units when the "All Units" option is selected for Switch or Redemption orders.


  • Where to Find:

    • Investor Dashboard > Invest Online NSE > Additional Transaction


 

       


  1. NSE Invest – Saved UPI ID Not Auto-Populating in Cart Checkout:

  • Issue Reported:

    • In NSE Invest, the saved UPI ID was not being auto-populated during the Cart Checkout process. Users were required to manually enter their UPI ID for every cart-based transaction, even though the auto-populate feature was working correctly for direct investment transactions. 

  • Issue Resolved:

    • This issue has been fixed. The saved UPI ID is now automatically populated during Cart Checkout, providing a consistent and seamless payment experience across all investment flows.

    • Investor Dashboard > Invest Online NSE > New Investment 

 

       



  1. Broker Dashboard – Logout Issue While Redirecting to Investor Dashboard:

  • Issue Reported:

    • An issue was observed in the Broker Dashboard while accessing alerts (such as SIP Update Alerts). After opening an investor from the alert list and clicking the Dashboard button to navigate to the Investor Dashboard, the broker was being logged out instead of being redirected to the investor's account. 

  • Issue Resolved:

    • This issue has been fixed. Brokers are now correctly redirected to the Investor Dashboard from the alert section without being logged out.

  1. Client Tags Not Visible in Edit Screen:

  • Issue Reported:

    • An issue was observed in the Clients menu where the tags assigned to a client were visible in the client list but were not displayed on the Edit Client screen, leading to inconsistency. 

  • Issue Resolved:

    • This issue has been fixed. Client tags are now displayed consistently in both the Clients list and the Edit Client screen. 


  • Where to Find:

    • Dashboard > Clients 


         



  1. Mobile App – Referral Feature for MFDs:

  • Issue Reported:

    • The Referral feature in the Mobile App for MFDs using NSE 2.0 was not functioning correctly, preventing advisors from sharing and using referral links as intended.  

  • Issue Resolved:

    • This issue has been fixed. MFDs can now successfully share their unique onboarding referral link with prospective investors, allowing them to complete the onboarding process quickly and easily. This makes investor acquisition more seamless and simplifies onboarding through the mobile app.


  • Where to Find:
