Welcome to Investwell Release Notes. We are pleased to inform you about the updates being made to our software this week.
Read through to discover the exciting changes we’ve made just for you.
Feature Updates
1. Introducing Track Order Functionality in NSE Invest:
We’ve added a brand-new Track Order feature in NSE Invest to give you complete visibility of your transactions.
By clicking the Track Order button, you can now view the real-time status of your order in 4 clear stages:
Order Placement
Authentication
Payment
Order Confirmation
Each stage clearly shows where your order stands and allows you to take necessary action if required at that step.
Where to Find:
Dashboard > Invest Online NSE Invest > My Orders > Track Order
2. Introducing a New Feature – Recommendation:
We’ve introduced a new feature, “Recommendation” under Portfolio Management.
This feature allows brokers to add scheme recommendations under three tabs – Buy, Sell, and Hold – for their RMs and Sub-Brokers. It helps teams take informed actions for investors based on the broker’s guidance.
Additionally, the Admin can manage permissions to allow specific users to add recommendations if required.
Change Access Permissions:
Log in to Investwell (Admin User)
Dashboard > Settings > User Settings > Access Permissions
3. Introduced Sub User Settings Menu for RM and Above User Types:
For large organisations with an extensive user base, where managing all users solely by the Admin is challenging, we’ve introduced a new option, Sub User Settings.
This allows RM and above user types to manage the users under their hierarchy directly.
Enable Sub User Settings:
Dashboard > Settings > User Settings > Access Permissions
Where to Find:
Log in (RM and Above)
Dashboard > Settings > User Settings > Access Permissions > Sub User Settings
4. Enhanced 2FA Enablement for Admins and Users:
What’s New?
Earlier, enabling 2FA was a simple Yes/No option that applied only to Admins.
Now, brokers can choose to enable 2FA for:
Only Admins
Only Users
Both Admins and Users
How to Set It Up
Configure SMS Gateway:
Settings > SMS Configuration > Two Factor Authentication (Edit)
Enter your Template ID (provided by your SMS API provider). And add an SMS template.
7. Important Update - Introduction of “IWell Code 2” in All Excel Imports and Exports:
In all Excel import and export files, there was previously a column named IWell Code, which acted as a unique identifier for investors. However, for larger organisations with an extensive investor base, some duplication issues were noticed due to the character limit of this field.
To address this, we’ve added a new column, IWell Code 2, which supports a larger character limit and helps prevent duplication errors.
Going forward, IWell Code 2 will become the primary identifier.
You can find the IWell Code 2 column in different types of reports and the Client List Excel export.
Where to Find:
Dashboard > Clients > XLS download
8. Terms and Privacy Policy Confirmation on Sign Up Page:
We’ve added a Terms and Privacy Policy link on the sign-up page along with a checkbox.
The checkbox is unticked by default.
Users must tick it to confirm before the Get OTP button becomes active.

Bugs Resolved
1. Incorrect Cost of Acquisition in Capital Gain Realized Report:
Issue Reported:
In the Capital Gain Report, users noticed a difference between the Purchase Amount and the Cost of Acquisition, even when indexation was not applied.
Issue Resolved:
This issue has been corrected. The Cost of Acquisition will now accurately reflect the Purchase Amount when indexation is not used, ensuring consistency in the report.
Where to Find:
Investor Dashboard > Report > Capital Gain Realized
2. Search Enhancement in NSE Invest Profile List:
Issue Reported:
In the NSE Invest Profile List menu, the search function was only considering UCC numbers, which do not contain spaces. As a result, searches made using investor names with spaces were not returning any results.
Issue Resolved:
We’ve enhanced the search functionality to recognize and process names containing spaces. You can now easily search investors using either UCC numbers or names, ensuring a smoother and more intuitive experience.
Where to Find:
Dashboard > Invest Online NSE Invest > Profile List
3. NSE Invest - Incorrect Mandate Mapping for Brokers with Multiple ARNs:
Issue Reported:
When a broker had multiple ARNs, there were cases where an order was placed under one ARN, but the mandate shown or sent belonged to another ARN. This created confusion and inconsistency while processing transactions.
Issue Resolved:
We’ve refined the system logic to ensure that only the mandates linked to the specific ARN used for the transaction are now displayed and shared. This fix ensures better accuracy and smoother transaction handling for brokers managing multiple ARNs.
4. Blank EUIN Field in Systematic Order Excel (Invest Online BSE):
Issue Reported:
In Invest Online BSE, while downloading the Systematic Order Excel file, the EUIN field was appearing blank even though the value was available in the system.
Issue Resolved:
We’ve fixed this issue; the EUIN details will now be correctly displayed in the downloaded Excel file, ensuring accurate and complete order records.
Where to Find:
Dashboard > Invest Online BSE > Systematic Order > XLS
5. Mismatch in Scheme Count Between Onscreen View and Excel (Utilities – Top Schemes):
Issue Reported:
In the Utilities - Top Schemes section, the number of schemes displayed onscreen did not match the count shown in the downloaded Excel file.
Issue Resolved:
We’ve corrected this issue; the scheme count in the Excel download will now perfectly match the number displayed onscreen, ensuring consistency.
Where to Find:
Dashboard > Utility > Top Scheme
6. Incorrect Opening Balance in Portfolio Snapshot:
Issue Reported:
In the Portfolio Snapshot, the opening balance was showing as 0, which did not match the value shown in the portfolio summary section. This happened because RDP transactions were being included in the cashflow view, affecting the calculation of the opening balance.
Issue Resolved:
We have corrected the calculation so that RDP transactions no longer impact the opening balance, ensuring the Portfolio Snapshot now accurately reflects the correct opening balance.
