Feature Updates


  1. Introducing Order Placing Shortlink:- 

  • With the latest release, we have introduced an "Investment Shortlink" feature. 

  • This update enables advisors to share a unique link for any scheme they wish to recommend to their investors. 

  • By clicking on the link, investors can directly proceed to invest in the suggested scheme without additional navigation.

  • This feature simplifies the investment process for investors.

  • To Share Shortlink:

    • Login to Investwell

    • Clients > Investor Dashboard > Invest Online NSE/BSE/MFU > New Investments > All Scheme / NFO > Copy Scheme link

  • When the Investor clicks the link, it will directly open the Order Application Form.


   



Note:- If an investor clicks on this link on their mobile phone it won’t open their mobile app as of now. This will be developed soon.




  1. MFU Create CAN: New Updates:- 

  • In alignment with the latest MFU norms, we have updated the nominee and guardian relationship fields in the CAN creation process. A dropdown menu with predefined values has been introduced, allowing users to select the appropriate relationship easily.

  • This update ensures compliance with MFU guidelines, eliminates errors caused by manual input, and simplifies the process for advisors.

  • To Create CAN:

    • Invest Online MFU > Profile List > Create CAN


   





  1. Service RM Assignment by Broker Hierarchy Users:-

  • With the latest release, the ability to assign a Service RM in bulk in the Client Finder has been extended. Previously, this functionality was only available to Admin and Back Office users. Now, all users within the Broker Hierarchy can set a Service RM, enhancing flexibility and streamlining client management.

  • This update enables Broker Hierarchy users to independently assign Service RMs, improving operational efficiency and reducing reliance on Admin or Back Office interventions.

  1. NSE: Cheque Deposit Slip Download Update:-

  • With the latest release, the functionality for downloading transaction slips has been updated. Now, transaction slips can only be downloaded once the order has been authorised.

  • This update enhances security and ensures that only authorised transactions can have their slips downloaded.


  • To Download the Transaction Slip: 

    • Login to Investwell 

    • Investor Dashboard > Invest Online NSE > My Order > Action Button


   

 



  1. Update: Excluding Demat Transfers from Capital Gain Report:-

  • With the latest update, demat transfers are now excluded from the Capital Gain Report. This adjustment recognises that demat transfers do not indicate a change in ownership or a taxable event and therefore should not be included in the report.

  • This ensures the accuracy of the Capital Gain Report.


  • Where to Find:

    • Investor Dashboard > Report >  Capital Gain Realized/Unrealized


   



 


  1.  Updates in Capital Gain Unrealized Onscreen Report:- 

  • With the latest release, the Capital Gain Unrealised Onscreen Report for the current financial year has been updated to align with the latest tax regime. 

  • This update ensures that the report includes accurate and relevant details as per the new regulations.

  1. Allowing Investments for Mapped Folios with Same PAN in BSE:-


  • With the latest update, transactions are now allowed in case UCC and Folio have same PAN but are assigned to 2 different clients. Previously, such transactions were restricted.

  • This update streamlines the investment process for clients where advisor has created dummy portfolios as per their needs.

  • Map Folio with Existing Clients:

  1. Update: Dropdown for Income Tax Category in User-Defined Security:-


  • With the latest release, a dropdown has been introduced to select the Income Tax Category as either Equity or Debt while adding user-defined securities. This ensures accurate categorisation of securities for better reporting.

  • This update enables precise bifurcation of equity and debt in the Capital Gain Realized and Unrealized reports, improving clarity and compliance.

Bugs Resolved


  1. Incorrect Asset Category Values in AUM Reports:-

  • Issue Reported:

    • A user reported an issue with the values displayed in the AUM reports when the asset class was selected as Other Assets and the data was sub grouped by Asset Category.

  • Issue Resolved:

    • Our development team has identified and rectified the bug associated with this issue. The values in the AUM reports now display accurately with all the filters.

  • Where to Find:

  1. Unable to Download Client Bulk Import File After Failed Import:- 

  • Issue Reported:

    • A user reported a bug where they were unable to download the client bulk import file if the import process was unsuccessful.

  • Issue Resolved:

    • Our development team identified and rectified the issue. Users can now successfully download the bulk import file even when the import fails, enabling them to review and correct errors easily.

  • To Import Client in Bulk:

    • Dashboard > Client > Upload >

  1. Update: Guardian Relation Value Not Auto-Populating in BSE Edit UCC:-



  • Issue Reported:

    • A user reported an issue where, while editing the UCC and selecting the Guardian Relation value, the value was not auto-populating upon re-editing the same UCC.

  • Issue Resolved:

    • Our development team reviewed the process and found that once the Guardian Relation value is submitted in Mint, it gets synced at the BSE portal. After successful synchronisation with the BSE portal, the saved value will be reflected in Mint. As this process may take some time, users are advised to recheck after a brief interval.

  1. Payment Links Not Generated While Placing Orders in BSE:- 


  • Issue Reported:
    A user reported an issue where, while placing an order through BSE, the system displayed a confirmation message stating "Order Successfully Placed to BSE." Still, the payment link was not being generated.

  • Issue Resolved:
    Our development team has identified and resolved the bug causing this issue. Payment links will now be generated correctly after the successful placement of orders.

  1. Scheme Compare Fetching Incorrect Data:-

  • Issue Reported:

    • A user reported a bug in the Scheme Compare feature. When an investor, who is also a family head, was selected as a client to fetch schemes in Scheme Compare, the schemes displayed were for the entire family instead of the individual investor.

  • Issue Resolved:

    • Our development team has identified and resolved the issue. Now, when an investor who is a family head is selected, only their individual schemes will be fetched in the Scheme Compare feature.

  1. Updated Display for Returns Value in Broker and Client Portals:-  


  • About the Update:

    • With the latest release, we have improved the display of returns values in two key areas

      • Top Scheme in the Broker Portal

      • Watchlist in the Client Portal

    • Whenever the return value for a time period is calculated as 0, it will now be displayed as "-" instead of "0" (Zero).

  1. Revised Data Display for Fixed Deposits in Mint Mobile App:-  


  • About the Update:

    • We have updated how data for Fixed Deposits is displayed in the Mint mobile app’s Portfolio screen. Previously, the values were shown as of the Current Date. With this update, fixed deposit values will now be displayed as of Yesterday.

    • This change brings uniformity to the values displayed for Mutual Funds, Shares & Bonds and Fixed Deposits. However, the current value of the other assets is still to be shown as on the current date.
