Feature Updates


  1. Introducing Risk-Reward Scatter Plot in Scheme Compare:-


  • With the latest release, we have introduced the “Risk-Reward Scatter Plot” feature in Scheme Compare.

  • This feature enables users to generate a scatter plot for multiple schemes, visually representing them as a dot on the graph.

  • The X-axis represents the Standard Deviation (Risk), and the Y-axis represents the Trailing Return (Reward).

  • The plot helps categorise schemes based on their risk and return profiles, such as:

    • High Risk, High Reward

    • High Risk, Low Reward

    • Low Risk, High Reward

    • Low Risk, Low Reward

  • Assists in evaluating which schemes offer better returns relative to their associated risks.

  • Supports building new portfolios/models or assessing the current portfolio performance of clients.

  • Standard Deviations have been calculated using calendar month returns.

  1. Improvements in Meeting Notes:-


  • Update:

  • With the latest update, we have improved the working of certain functionalities in the Meeting Notes feature.

  • The responsiveness of Meeting Notes on mobile devices has also been improved, offering a smoother user experience.


  • Benefits:

  • Ensures that all functionalities now work with improved precision.

  • Enhances accessibility by optimising the feature for mobile view.


  • Create a Meeting Note:

    • Login to Investwell 

    • Dashboard > Utilities > Meeting Notes > Create Note


   




  1.  "As on Date" Selector in Email Scheduler for Portfolio Summary Report:- 


  • In the latest update we have Introduced “As on Date” Picker in the Email Scheduler for Portfolio Summary report. The date selected will act as the end date in the report shared. In case the date is not selected manually, automatically the date selected is of yesterday. 

  • You can use this to send Portfolio Summary as on a back date in bulk which wasn’t available earlier.


  • Where to Find

    • Login to Investwell

    • Dashboard > Email Scheduler > Create Campaign > Select Client > Proceed > Portfolio Summary Report > One Time > Select Period > Pick (As on Date)


   



  1. New Functionality for Admin User: Deactivate Login:-


  • Admins now have the ability to deactivate login access for any user level, including RM, Broker, Sub Broker, and Clients.

  • This feature also supports bulk activation or deactivation of logins for multiple users/clients simultaneously.

  • Offers better control over user management by enabling login status changes at all levels.


  • To Deactivate/Reactivate Login Access for Users:

    • Login to Investwell

    • Dashboard > Setting > User Setting > Select Users > Choose Action


   




 

  • To Deactivate/Reactivate Login Access for Clients:

    • Login to Investwell

    • Dashboard > Clients > Select Clients > Choose  Action


   



 



  1. Showing Percentage in Equity Cap for Mutual Funds in Asset Allocation Report:-


  • With the latest update, the total row in the Equity Cap for Mutual Funds section of the Asset Allocation report now shows percentages.

  • This improvement is available both onscreen and in the Excel report download.

  • This new update helps in better data interpretation in the first impression.


  • Where to Find:

    • Login to Investwell

    • Investor Dashboard > Report > Asset Allocation > Scroll to Equity Cap for Mutual Funds Section

   


  


  1. “Send via Email” Shortcut in Portfolio Valuation and Summary Reports:-


  • With the latest update, a shortcut link has been added to share the Portfolio Valuation and Summary Reports directly via email when opened in the PDF view.

  • When the report is opened in PDF view, clicking the Email Icon will trigger a popup, allowing users to send the report instantly via email.

  • This new update improves the user experience by saving time  and simplifies the process of sharing the reports with clients.

  • This option is available in both, when the admin login to investor account from admin dashboard as well as when the investor directly login into their account


  • Where to Find:

    • Login to Investwell

    • Investor Dashboard > Report > Portfolio Valuation/Summary > Open In PDF view > Click on Email Icon

    7. Improvements in Lost Brokerage Report:-

  • With the latest release, we have improved the Lost Brokerage Report by excluding the folios with redemptions made on the 1st of the month.

  • For Example, if a full redemption occurs on 1st July 2024, it will not appear in the Lost Brokerage Report for August 2024, as no brokerage will be paid for that transaction.

  • This new update will reduce the confusion regarding brokerage payouts for redemptions processed on the 1st of the month and ensure a more accurate report by filtering out non-eligible transactions.

  1. Optimised Brokerage Analysis Report:- 


  • With the latest release, we have optimised the Brokerage Analysis Report to improve its performance. Some users previously encountered timeout issues or delays in generating the report for some parameters.

  • With this update, the report generation process has now been optimised to improve speed and ensure smoother performance.

Bugs Resolved


  1. Account Number Discrepancy in Transaction Slip When Order Placed Through Cheque:-


  • Issue Reported

    • A user reported an issue with the transaction slip generated when placing an order through a cheque. The account number on the slip from Mint differed from the slip generated by the NSE portal. The NSE slip displayed a virtual account number, while the Mint slip showed the NSE bank account number.

  • Issue Resolved

    • With this release, the transaction slip generated from Mint will now display the virtual account number to align with the NSE format.

  • To Place Transaction Via Cheque:

    • Login to Investwell

    • Dashboard > Invest Online NSE > New Investment > Select Parameters > Payment Mode (Cheque)

  1. UCC Creation Error for Tax Status NRI-NRE (Repatriation):- 


  • Issue Reported:

    • A user reported an issue with UCC creation when selecting the tax status as NRI-NRE (Repatriation) and leaving the mobile number section blank. It displayed an error message: "Failed: Mobile Declaration Flag Should Be Blank."

  • Issue Resolved:

    • Our development team has implemented the necessary changes, and the issue is now resolved.


  • To Create UCC:

    • Login to Investwell

    • Dashboard > Invest Online BSE > Profile List > Create UCC

   


 

  1. "Something Not Good" Error While Fetching Mandate status:-


  • Issue Reported:

    • A user reported an issue where an error message, "Something not good," appeared while fetching the mandate status. This issue occurred due to a character limit restriction in our system.

  • Issue Resolved:

    • Our development team identified the problem and increased the character limit to resolve the issue.

  • To Create or Sync Mandate:

    • Login to Investwell

    • Invest Online BSE > Mandate  List > Sync/Create Mandate


   




  1. NSE Cart Error:-


  • Issue Reported:

    • A user reported an issue with the NSE Cart. When orders were added to the cartin in investor login, the number of orders added to the cart didn't match when checking the cart from the admin login. 

  • Issue Resolved:

    • We made some changes to the NSE cart. However, the orders that were added to the cart before these changes were made caused the discrepancy. Our team has identified and resolved the issue.


  • To add Orders to the Cart:

    • Login to Investwell

    • Investor Dashboard > Invest Online NSE > New Investment


   



  • Investor Dashboard > Invest Online NSE > Cart


   



 

  • Check the Cart from the Admin Login

    • Login to Investwell

    • Invest Online NSE > Cart

   

  

  


  1. Folio Number Imported as Exponent:-


  • Issue Reported:

    • A user reported an issue where folio numbers were displayed in exponent format when the data was uploaded via Add Transaction through the CSV file.

  • Issue Resolved:

    • Our development team identified the issue and updated the format used in the CSV file. This change has resolved the problem.

  • Where to Find:

    • Login to Investwell

    • Dashboard > Data Management > Create Transaction > Bulk Upload > New Bulk Upload

     



  1. Brokerage Payout Data Missing Error on Reimporting:- 


  • Issue Reported

    • A user reported an issue where some data in the brokerage payout calculation was missing after reimporting the file.

  • Issue Resolved

    • Our development team identified and resolved the bug causing this issue. Now, all payout data remains intact after reimporting.
