Feature Updates

  1. Portfolio Valuation Report Onscreen Updates: -

  • For the product type selected as FD, a new column named "Type" has been added 

  • This column helps identify the FD type such as Compounding/Payout

  • The “Type” column was already available in the PDF and Excel. 

  • Where to Find:-

    • Login to Investwell

    • Go to Investor Dashboard > Report > Portfolio Valuation > Choose Product (FD)


  1. Improvements in IIN Creation Process:-

  • NSE has introduced a few fixed Nominee relationship type in the IIN Creation process 

  • A dropdown list has been added for selecting the nominee relationship, reducing errors that can be caused by any spelling mistakes.

  • If the nominee is a minor, an additional dropdown list for selecting the guardian relationship is also provided.

  • This update reduces errors and simplifies the IIN creation process by providing predefined options for nominee and guardian relationships.

  • To Create a New IIN:

    • Invest Online NSE > Profile List > Create IIN

  1. Scheme Compare Improvements in Trailing Returns:-

  • With this update, the Expense Ratio is now displayed in the trailing returns, both on-screen and in the Excel file download.

  • The number of years in the calendar and financial year options has been increased from 3 to 15, allowing users to select between 5, 7, 10, and 15 years.

  • For 5 and 7-year periods, the return type can be selected as Half-Yearly or Yearly, while for 10 and 15years, the return type will be Yearly.

  • This new update allows users to view returns over more extended periods.

  1. Upload Cheque for Inactive Bank:-

  • With the latest update, we have introduced an option to activate bank accounts with an “inactive” status by uploading a bank cheque from the profile list screen.

  • This new update allows the user to see the bank account status if more than one bank account was added during the IIN creation.

  • Check Bank Status and Upload the Cheque

    • Login to Investwell

    • Invest Online NSE > Profile List > Manage Banks

  1. Added Share & Bond in Dividend Reports

  • In the latest update, we have introduced Shares and Bonds in the Dividend Report. Previously, only Mutual Funds were available as an asset class in the report.

  • This updated report provides a more comprehensive view of the dividend report.

  1. Improvements in Portfolio Valuation and Portfolio Summary Reports:-

  • With the latest update, when the asset type is selected as “Other Assets,” a new column titled “Investor Name” has been added to the generated reports.

  • This column has been included in both the Portfolio Valuation and Portfolio Summary reports.

Bugs Resolved


  1. NSE, BSE & MFU Order Placed but Showing “Something Went Wrong”:-

  • Issue Reported

    • Some users reported an issue where, while placing an order, the payment was successfully completed, but upon auto-redirecting back to the portal from the payment gateway, the user was logged out with an error message saying, "Something went wrong." This occurred when the broker logged into the investor portal and then placed the order and paid on behalf of the Investor. This can happen when he is transacting in his own folio.

  • Issue Resolved

    • The development team identified and fixed the bug causing this issue. The payment process now redirects back to the portal correctly without errors.

  1. ETF Schemes Missing from Search in Model Portfolio

  • Issue Reported

    • A user reported that when searching for ETF schemes in the "Search Scheme" section of the Model Portfolio, no ETF funds were displayed in the list.

  • Issue Resolved

    • The development team identified and fixed the issue. ETF schemes now appear correctly in the search results within the Model Portfolio.

  1. Family Head Filter Not Working in SIP Mining Report:-

  • Issue Reported

    • A user reported an issue in the SIP Mining Report where the family head filter was not functioning. Searching for the name of the family head was not showing any results.

  • Issue Resolved

    • The development team identified and fixed the bug causing this issue. The family head filter now works correctly, showing the relevant results.

  1. SIP Transaction Failed When Selecting “Pay First Installment Now”:-

  • Issue Reported

    • A user reported an issue while making a new investment and selecting the transaction type as SIP. The transaction was unsuccessful when attempting to make the payment using the "Pay First Installment Now" option.

  • Issue Resolved

    • The development team identified and resolved the bug causing this issue. The payment process now works correctly for SIP transactions with the "Pay First Installment Now" option.

  1. Portfolio Not Being Sent to Morningstar:-

  • Issue Reported

    • When sending investor portfolio details to Morningstar, a user reported an issue where Mint indicated that the request was sent successfully, but the details were missing from the Morningstar portal. This issue occurred only when the selected investor was a family head.

  • Issue Resolved

    • The development team identified and fixed the bug causing this issue. Portfolio details now correctly appear in the Morningstar portal.

    • Data Management > Morningstar AWS Sync > Select Profile > Send to Morningstar


  1. Transaction Confirmation Email Sent as Blank:- 

  • Issue Reported

    • A user reported that when sending a transaction confirmation email to an investor, the email was sent without any transaction details. This issue occurred because multiple requests were sent for a single set of unsent transactions. Once the first request was completed, there was no transaction left to share in the second request.

  • Issue Resolved

    • The development team fixed the issue. The system now identifies multiple requests for sending a transaction confirmation email for the same set of unsent transactions and ensures that no blank emails are sent.
