As of now, we Actual Asset Allocation details at the investor level, example below:
However, it will be helpful if we can add this asset allocation (either at broad asset category level of Debt, Equity, Gold etc or even better at the sub category level (like large cap, mid cap for equity).
This is important in Goal Planning as Asset allocation for the same client may be different for each goal. For example, for education for kid coming up in 2 yrs will have lower equity compared retirement goal 15 yrs away.
Having actual asset allocation details for each goal will help knowing how allocation has changed from initial and to see if it needs rebalancing.
